I am currently partnered with a leading healthcare specialist in the Nashville area, who are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to run large scale local projects.
They are open to a Commercial or Healthcare Construction background!
About the Role- Design project team structures and secure the necessary resources for operational success.
- Train and guide the project team, setting high expectations and resolving internal personnel challenges with emotional intelligence.
- Foster a proactive safety culture and champion the adoption of new technologies and data systems.
- Act as the final authority on all critical communications, including legal notices and high-stakes owner correspondence.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on construction methods, sequencing, and creative field solutions.
- Lead transition meetings between preconstruction and operations; adjust project roadmaps dynamically to overcome unforeseen obstacles.
- Oversee total QA/QC compliance to eliminate rework and minimize long-term liability.
- Manage the bidding process alongside support staff and lead Value Engineering (VE) efforts to maximize client value.
- Perform final reviews of subcontracts and purchase orders; assist in negotiating prime contract terms with owners.
- Minimize deviations from standard subcontract forms and ensure all legal/critical notices are vetted and accurate.
- Mastermind the master schedule and ensure procurement milestones are met to prevent field delays.
- Develop achievable General Conditions (GCs), review project financial reports for surgical accuracy, and resolve complex cost issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 to 20 years of progressive experience in the construction industry.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office, industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., P6), and Project Management systems (e.g., Procore).
- Expert-level communication, conflict resolution, cost forecasting, and the ability to manage high-performing teams.
