Assistant General Manager – Marriott Nashville Airport

- Manage budgets, financial plans, and control expenditure.
- Oversee hotel operations under the General Manager’s direction.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction to drive brand metrics.
- Maintain compliance with brand standards and statutory regulations.
- Keep accurate statistical and financial records.
- Set and achieve sales and profit targets.
- Recruit, train, and monitor staff.
- Plan work schedules for individuals and teams.
- Meet and greet guests and address complaints.
- Supervise maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings.
- Deal with contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure effective security and conduct property inspections.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
- Minimum of two (2) years as an Assistant General Manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Financial savvy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
