Assistant General Manager – Marriott Nashville Airport

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage budgets, financial plans, and control expenditure.
  • Oversee hotel operations under the General Manager’s direction.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction to drive brand metrics.
  • Maintain compliance with brand standards and statutory regulations.
  • Keep accurate statistical and financial records.
  • Set and achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Recruit, train, and monitor staff.
  • Plan work schedules for individuals and teams.
  • Meet and greet guests and address complaints.
  • Supervise maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings.
  • Deal with contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure effective security and conduct property inspections.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years as an Assistant General Manager.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred.

  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Financial savvy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
