Job Summary And Qualifications

Responsible for leading all non-labor contracting efforts, supplier relationships, and capital equipment services, including vision, strategy, execution, and overall business development for HCA Healthcare and Health Trust members. This includes overseeing a comprehensive approach to asset management, delivering substantial year-over-year value, and leading large-scale transformations of medical equipment management processes. Manages team resources and personnel at the corporate and division levels and has ultimate ownership for the contract performance for over $14 billion of operational spend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and execution of contracting strategies and capital equipment service offerings.
  • Lead the negotiation and finalization of contracts, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
  • Manage supplier executive relationships and ensure accountability.
  • Develop and maintain Health Trust member relationships, championing HCA's interests.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite executives, clinical leadership, and supply chain operators.
  • Meet and exceed annual goals, including savings, category expansion, and operational productivity.
  • Establish strategic direction for HCA’s contract portfolio and influence senior leadership.
  • Manage financial and budgetary considerations, revenue, and customer relationships.
  • Lead team integration, leadership, and personnel development.
  • Develop critical service line offerings and execute them within HCA and other Health Trust members.
  • Maximize value across the equipment lifecycle, including planning, acquisition, management, and disposition.
  • Develop processes, policies, and technologies to ensure a complete capital asset management program.
