What you will accomplish in this roleThe Director of Change Management provides connection between strategy and delivery. This means empowering the team to act early and tactically, coaching managers to remove barriers, accelerating execution of tasks by being more agile, and ensuring that change initiatives are not only launched, but have comprehensive plans to sustain the change. This individual will take direction from the AVP of Change Management and is expected to foster and manage a series of stakeholder relationships to ensure our plan is integrated into a holistic change plan and executed effectively across all facilities in scope, holding staff managers and our team accountable with metrics, frequent statusing and ongoing evaluation of change plan effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:Lead day-to-day oversight, by driving timelines, unblocking teams, and managing deliverables
Provides mentorship, prioritization, and escalation support for analysts and leaders in real time
Acts as a liaison with clinical, operational, and IT partners to ensure change plans are integrated and adapted timely for delivery
Translates the Expanse Enterprise strategy into department-level messaging, adoption toolkits, and activation plans.
Establishes change governance and measures reinforcement by tracking adoption metrics, surfacing risks, and driving accountability
Collaborate with the Leaders at corporate, division and facility to understand the issues and challenges involved in driving change
Collaboration with Implementation, Product and Project Management leadership to integrate change management strategies into our execution model
Optimize Change Impact Assessments and Change Readiness Assessment frameworks for effectively assessing impact and risk with change initiatives
Enhance the ongoing operations of our Change Champion Networks; ensuring stakeholders are engaged, attendance is consistent and that we’re maintaining a focus on continuous process improvement
Guide the development and readiness of our Executives in the facility in the division leading our sponsors through readiness planning and execution of implementation readiness activities
Coordinate, plan and deliver on change management training and upskilling for under-developed stakeholders
Assess people risk for an implementation through a blend of early screenings, site assessments and collaboration with other implementation and operations stakeholders
Partner with Director of Strategic Communications to manage change/communication strategies
Monitor metrics measuring impact of change interventions in driving successful change
Implement targeted and agile approaches to manage change leadership and workforce transition
Execute on culture and engagement strategies
Coach tools and resources to ensure integration of change management activities into project plan leveraging best practices, PROSCI methodologies and consistency in community of practice
Develop and maintain a library or engagement and change management tools and resources.
Effectively navigate the HCA network across stakeholder groups and functional areas, to implement a cohesive Change Strategy
Report and escalation issues and risks with change management and engagement to AVP and/or applicable upstream leaders
Bachelor’s Degree required, but Master’s Degree preferred
PROSCI Certification or other Change Management Certification strongly preferred
7-10 years of previous Change Management leadership experience (innovation/start up environment, complex project experience and/or experience in a relevant setting is preferred) required
Up to 50% travel required
