Position: Water Quality Tech.

Job Summary

The Water Quality Tech will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality of water throughout Nashville Shores waterpark and will assist the Maintenance Department with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine water quality testing and analysis
  • Monitor and maintain water treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to water quality and treatment processes
  • Document and report water quality data and findings to management
  • Work closely with the maintenance department and assist where needed
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Minimum Age
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
Skills and Abilities
  • Problem Solving– Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information efficiently; and develop alternative solutions when needed.
  • Communication– Greet each guest in a warm and inviting manner; able to remain calm and effectively communicate with others; utilize walkie-talkie to communicate with main office and managers; complete documentation in a clear and concise fashion; and able to read and interpret information quickly.
  • Planning/Organizing– Fill downtime with appropriate tasks; and work in an efficient manner.
  • Quality Control– Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work; look for ways to improve and promote quality; and able to monitor own work for quality assurance.
  • Dependability– Follows instructions and responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; completes task on time or notifies supervisor with an alternate plan and timeline; consistently at work and on time for scheduled shift; and ensure responsibilities are covered when absent.
Essential Job Functions Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to stand; walk or pace; use hands to handle equipment, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; be required to lift up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment

The employee is regularly exposed to hot and/or humid conditions; outside weather conditions.

Occasionally = Less than 33% of time worked dedicated to the activity.

Frequently = Between 33 – 66% of time worked dedicated to the activity.

Regularly = More than 66% of the time worked dedicated to the activity.
