Overview

Park Service Attendants are responsible for the overall cleanliness of the Park by patrolling designated areas, sweeping, cleaning the restrooms and running trash pickups along with other duties as assigned. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and work proactively.

• Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor while working and interacting with or around guest.
• Monitor designated areas and ensure its overall cleanliness.
• Sweep main pathways and clear trash and debris from garden beds, fence lines or other off beaten paths.
• Empty trash cans before it reaches it s maximum capacity.
• Mop floors, clean stalls/urinals, wipe down counters and stock restrooms.
• Place hazard signs when needed.
• Patrol the parking lots before and after operation and clear it of ALL trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Problem Solving Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Communication Great each and every guest in a warm and inviting manor and communicate with supervisor on progress or to fill downtime. Ask for assistance when needed.
• Planning/ Organizing Fill downtime with appropriate tasks; and work in an efficient manor.
• Quality Control Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work; look for ways to improve and promote quality; and able to monitor own work for quality assurance.
• Dependability Follows instructions and responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; complete task on time or notifies supervisor with an alternate plan and timeline; consistently at work and on time for scheduled shift; and ensure responsibilities are covered when absent.

Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk or pace; use hands to handle equipment or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment - While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
