Maintenance Worker, Janitor
Overview
This is a Full-time, Non-Civil Service position with Metropolitan Action Commission and provides medical, dental, vision, and other benefits. The position is supervised by the Facilities Manager and performs duties to insure the cleanliness of all Metropolitan Action Commission property (indoor and outside).
Work HoursMonday - Friday (10:00 A.M.
- 6:30 P.M.)
Extensive Background Checks are performed on applicants for this role.
- Perform preventive maintenance work
- Assist in all cleaning functions
- Attend meetings and complete required training
- Demonstrate positive and professional work habits
- Assist with other position related duties as requested by supervisor
Minimum of an eighth-grade education and one (1) year of experience in custodial work. Valid Driver License.
- Knowledge of custodial methods, materials and tools
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
