Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor at Aloft Nashville West End

Are you a hands‑on leader with a strong technical foundation and a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? As our Maintenance Supervisor
, you’ll support the day‑to‑day maintenance operations of the hotel while leading by example alongside the Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step into leadership while remaining actively involved in preventative maintenance, repairs, and guest service support.

Your Role
  • Assist in supervising daily maintenance operations, ensuring work orders and preventative maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide hands‑on support with maintenance requests, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the property including guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, equipment, and furniture.
  • Help coordinate and prioritize maintenance work orders to ensure timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
  • Support the training, coaching, and development of maintenance team members, leading by example.
  • Conduct regular property walks to identify maintenance, safety, and cleanliness issues and ensure timely follow‑up.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with safety standards, health codes, and brand requirements, including pool and spa maintenance where applicable.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and safety concerns, following established procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, tools, supplies, and equipment organization.
  • Support coordination with other departments, including Housekeeping and Operations, to ensure smooth daily hotel operations.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team communication and alignment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel or similar setting.
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2 to 4‑year college degree or technical training is a plus.
  • Licensed or certified in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems and preventative maintenance practices.
  • Must be proficient with Windows operating systems.
  • Must have valid driver’s license for applicable state and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
  • Flexible availability.
  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
