Eligibility for benefits may vary by location. Responsibilities
- You will perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on various hospital systems and equipment as required to assure optimum efficiency, reliability and safety.
- You will maintain full compliance with OSHA lock out / tag out safety practices.
- You will consistently utilize approved PPE for safety as required.
- You will label equipment out of service and inform staff of backup equipment in a timely manner.
- You will properly operate and respond to use of two‑way radio communications in a timely manner.
- You will assist other department staff and accept additional responsibilities as given by the department manager.
- Competent in use of various hand tools, diagnostic and repair equipment.
- Ability to interpret blueprints/drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Good written/oral communication skills.
- Familiar with basic NFPA, ASRAE Standards and the ability to learn JCAHO Standards and develop and implement new policies.
- Good computer system skills required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A valid Tennessee driver’s license required.
- Three years minimum healthcare or equivalent experience required.
