• Oversee the property grounds, public areas, and hotel guest rooms
• Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Paint, replace electrical accessories, and maintain HVAC
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Respond to maintenance orders in a timely manner
• Fulfill work orders promptly
• Complete daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned

• Minimum of two years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• Preferred but not necessary: one year of college or trade school equivalent in mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines
• In‑depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry

• Basic math skills
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time‑management skills

• Prolonged periods standing and walking
• Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery
• Visual inspection of machines
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
