What we do:

Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA) provides service to government agencies through police science and administrative education programs for officers at all levels of responsibility, offers timely and relevant information to officers attending training programs, and serves as the center of law enforcement training for all law enforcement officers in the State of Tennessee.

Produce and execute lesson plans on an assortment of Law Enforcement specific topics and activities.

Provide information to the students in an easy-to-understand method.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

Graduation from an accredited college with a bachelor's degree or the equivalent in years of service/experience as an active certified law enforcement officer.

Three years of full time responsible law enforcement experience.
