Litigation Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will assist with all aspects of the defense of health care providers from pre-suit claim evaluation and investigation through jury verdict (drafting pleadings, preparing and responding to written discovery, deposition practice, motion practice, expert witness disclosure and discovery, alternative dispute resolution, trial).

• Draft legal documents including pleadings and motions with precision and clarity
• Prepare prompt and thorough reports for clients
• Manage case load and communicate with supervising partners about foreseeable issues and deadlines
• Prepare for and handle court appearances by analyzing case filings, researching issues, and developing case strategies.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in Tennessee
• Litigation experience is preferred
• Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence
• Excellent verbal skills for appearances at depositions and hearings
