About Our ClientAddison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a respected law firm with a busy civil and business litigation practice.
Job DescriptionThis is a key support role for a senior litigation attorney with a demanding caseload. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and experienced in litigation support. This position is fully onsite and best suited for someone who enjoys hands-on involvement and being an integral part of an active legal practice.
Key Responsibilities- Support a senior partner attorney with daily litigation, case management, and calendar management needs.
- Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence.
- Handle state and federal court filings using multiple e-filing systems.
- Manage case files, documents, and deadlines across numerous active matters.
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, court appearances, and litigation schedules.
- Maintain attorney calendars and manage time-sensitive emails.
- Communicate professionally with courts, clients, opposing counsel, and vendors.
- Ensure filings are completed accurately and on time in a deadline-driven environment.
- 5+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal.
- Strong civil, business, or insurance defense litigation experience preferred.
- Experience with state and federal e-filing systems required.
- Exceptional organizational and deadline-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume legal setting.
- Fully onsite role in downtown Nashville.
- Typical hours between 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- No billable hour requirements.
