Managed Care Specialist​/Legal assistant

Legal Assistant — Nashville, TN (Local, Hybrid)

• Hybrid work environment (mix of remote and in-office)
• Extensive training (up to 6 weeks, virtual/in-office as required)
• Work hours:
  
  Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST (37.5 hours/week)
• Contract duration: 12 months with possible extension

• Determine eligibility for care programs
• Coordinate and communicate schedules with clients
• Conduct client interviews, gather case data, and support attorney recommendations
• Manage casework with accurate documentation and resolution
• Perform legal research, analyze documents, and draft legal papers
• Use multiple databases to extract information efficiently
• Participate in team meetings and assist leadership as needed

• Bachelor’s or associate degree required
• Paralegal background or legal experience is a plus
• Customer service or call center experience is beneficial
  
  Strong Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills
• Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines independently
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
