Overview
Latitude has an exciting opportunity for an attorney with technology and commercial contracting experience to work with a top company in the Nashville metro area. This will start as a contract engagement focusing on IT procurement contracts, but has the potential to grow into a permanent position. Applicants should have extensive experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts and technology agreements, including software and technology licensing, SaaS, and nondisclosure agreements.
Prior experience at a corporate law firm, a sophisticated boutique firm, or in-house with a major company is preferred.
- 5+ years of technology and commercial contracts experience
- Significant experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex technology transaction agreements
- Prior experience at a large corporate law firm, a sophisticated boutique firm, or in-house with a major company is preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
- Licensed to practice law and eligible to register as in-house counsel in TN
- Able to work onsite on a hybrid basis in the Nashville Metropolitan area

Pay:
The annualized pay for this position ranges from $180,000 to $220,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate s preference (each candidate s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate s competitiveness for the position).
Benefits:
In addition to compensation, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance.
A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
