Legal Assistant – Litigation – Labor & Employment

A respected national Labor and Employment law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant to support its defense practice. If you’re experienced, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment, this could be a great next step.

Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and motions
• E-file in Tennessee state and federal courts
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and trial binders
• Coordinate witnesses and assist attorneys with trial preparation and logistics
• Track deadlines and manage litigation calendars

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably defense work
• Strong knowledge of Tennessee court procedures and e-filing systems
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
