What is the role?

As a Client Manager in our Commercial Insurance division, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our U.S.

-based clients. Working closely with producers, underwriters, and internal support teams, you will manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring all aspects of coverage, renewals, claims, and policy servicing are handled with accuracy and efficiency. Your role is essential in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the insurance lifecycle.


What will you be doing?

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a designated book of commercial clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Attend client meetings (virtually or in person) as required.
  • Manage the full renewal process including gathering underwriting information, marketing to carriers, and presenting proposals.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and audits in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and negotiate terms.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain complete and accurate client files within the agency management system (e.g., EPIC, AMS
    360).
  • Ensure all documentation complies with industry and regulatory standards.

Claims Support

  • Act as a liaison between clients and claims adjusters to ensure smooth claims handling.
  • Monitor claims status and update clients on progress.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with producers, account executives, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in training, process improvement, and departmental meetings.


What are we looking for?

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably within a brokerage environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. insurance markets, coverages, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license (U.S. state-specific, as applicable).
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., EPIC, AMS
    360, Sagitta).
  • Solid understanding of key commercial coverages (GL, Property, Auto, WC, Umbrella, E&O, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Designations such as CIC, CISR, ARM, or equivalent.
  • Experience with middle-market and large commercial accounts.
  • Familiarity with surplus lines and E&S markets.
