Personal Lines Account Manager

About the Role

Martin & Zerfoss, Inc. is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager for a full-time role in Nashville, TN. The position has a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days in-office and 3 days WFH after the initial in-person training period. In this role, the Personal Lines Account Manager will:

• Manage Personal Lines client accounts with the focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Support Producers in day-to-day servicing of client accounts, including direct contact with clients and insurance carriers via phone, email and in-person when applicable.
• Prepare and process binders of insurance, policies, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Analyze coverage, limits, deductibles, and pricing options.
• Develop strong relationships and trust with clients, producers, teammates and underwriters.
• Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of personal lines coverage.
• Utilize Applied Epic to manage and track all work.
• Follow agency and department workflows and procedures to complete daily tasks.

• 2+ years of experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager at an insurance agency.
• Tennessee P&C Insurance License (or licensed in another state and able to secure a TN P&C license upon hire).
• Experience using an insurance management platform;
  Applied Epic highly preferred.
• Able to reliably commute to our West Nashville office two days a week after the initial training period.
• Exemplary organization, time management and prioritization skills with a focus on timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients, agency and company personnel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or other related field desired, but not required.
• High degree of professionalism along with excellent business writing and communication skills.
• Team player that contributes to a positive work culture.

Salary range between $55,000 - $75,000/ year commensurate with experience
