IT Internship

Job Summary:

The IT Intern will install hardware & software in the Bandit Facilities. Troubleshoot, diagnose & repair computers, security camera systems, printers, access control & network issues. Learn proper techniques for network installation & troubleshooting. Help document IT procedures.

• Understands, abides by, and instills the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Bandit Lites.
• Troubleshooting user issues
• Assisting with system updates
• Learning IT infrastructure (Cloud, Security, Gates, Wifi, Servers)
• Pull, terminate and test new network cables
• Install network cameras
• Troubleshoot / install access control system components
• Documenting procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and learn quickly.
• Strong technical skills and desire to learn

• Helpdesk IT support software
• On prem and Cloud computing setup / management
• Software Development & Testing
• Networking Fundamentals
• Cybersecurity Basics
• Network termination & testing basics

Education:

Currently enrolled in a college/university with a major in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
