POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Vice President of IT Services, the Director Infrastructure & Operations manages and leads a flexible and adaptable high-performance organization (40+) to include delivering scalable, secure and resilient infrastructure and IT operations. S/He will drive innovation through hybrid cloud strategies, automation and modern development, security and operations practices. S/He leads, plans and directs the company’s overall IT systems infrastructure including data center operations, telecommunications, disaster recovery and WAN/LAN services.
Develops annual budgets and executes to financial plans in a lean, narrow margin, wholesale environment.
The Director Infrastructure & Operations will have a minimum of 10 years progressive IT experience in infrastructure and operations as well as 5+ years in a management capacity at the corporate, business unit or divisional level; this includes overseeing multi-disciplinary technical teams responsible for system administration, patch management, monitoring and backup/recovery. 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-level infrastructure environments in support of numerous applications in a multi-platform environment, including Windows, Linux, IBM systems, cloud platforms, storage and networking.
Experience supporting an extremely high-volume transaction, supply chain driven business utilizing a hybrid and cloud environment including PaaS, IaaS and SaaS will be crucial to the final candidate’s success.
Note:
While hybrid remote/on-site work schedules are offered, the successful candidate must reside in or relocate to the greater Nashville area.
