Senior Technology Vendor Manager

This role is responsible for leading the operational and strategic management of a complex portfolio of technology vendors. The Senior Technology Vendor Manager oversees the full vendor lifecycle, including governance, contract management, risk mitigation, and performance optimization. This position partners closely with senior stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Procurement to ensure vendor relationships deliver measurable value and align with organizational objectives.

The role drives accountability, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement across infrastructure, software, cloud, and emerging technology services.

Own and enhance the vendor governance framework across the technology organization.

Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with strategic vendors to drive value, performance, and innovation.

Establish, track, and report on KPIs, SLAs, and vendor performance metrics.

Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, review, redlining, execution, and renewals.

Lead vendor contract negotiations to ensure commercially favorable and risk-appropriate terms.

Collaborate with Legal and Sourcing teams to ensure contracts align with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors and manage day-to-day vendor relationships.

Act as an escalation point for vendor-related issues and drive timely resolution.

Partner with Security and Risk teams to conduct vendor risk assessments and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Identify opportunities for cost savings, vendor consolidation, and service optimization through strategic sourcing initiatives.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Technology, or related field.

• Demonstrated experience overseeing technology contract renewals, including vendor engagement, renewal analysis, and contract optimization.

7+ years of experience in vendor management, IT procurement, or contract negotiation.

Strong understanding of technology domains (cloud, SaaS, telecom, infrastructure, etc.).

Proven experience managing multi-million dollar vendor relationships.

Demonstrated success leading governance strategies and cross-functional business reviews.

Preferred (Optional):

Experience with enterprise tools such as Salesforce, Asana, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with vendor risk management frameworks and financial due diligence.

Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage senior-level stakeholder relationships.

Experience with in the media or entertainment industry.

The base range for this contract position is $70 - $80 / per hour
, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
