our client is currently seeking a qualified field technician to join their team in the nashville, tn area and provide end‑user support. This technician will serve as the primary onsite contact for technical and service‑related issues. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing, and repairing laser printers, wide‑format printers, kiosks, pos systems, and related hardware/software. Collaboration with level ii or lead technicians may be required to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
dutiesand responsibilities
- diagnose and resolve issues with printers, kiosks, and pos systems
- install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
- perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance
- deliver clear technical assistance to customers onsite and over the phone
- maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards
- strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software
- proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- excellent communication and customer service abilities
- ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team
the rate for this position is between $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
