Dev Ops Engineer (Software Developer)

Location:

Nashville, TN. WFH available up to 3 days per week in the Nashville area.

• Design, build, and manage data platforms, solutions, and interfaces in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Optimize GCP infrastructure, ensuring high uptime and scalability.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to reduce deployment time and enable consistent, version‑controlled infrastructure across environments.
• Design and implement disaster recovery strategies, achieving specified Recovery Time Objectives and Recovery Point Objectives.
• Develop and test backup and restore procedures to ensure 100% data integrity and availability during simulated system failures.
• Automate routine system administration tasks, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual errors.
• Develop custom monitoring and alerting systems to reduce Mean Time to Detect and Mean Time to Resolve issues.
• Maintain an optional WFH schedule of up to 3 days per week.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 5 years of overall progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years designing and implementing a cloud‑based infrastructure and maintaining IaC using Terraform.
• Experience designing and implementing a database backup and recovery strategy.
• Proficiency in Python scripts to automate operational tasks.
