A Sr Field Service IT Technician is a skilled and dedicated IT professional on the healthcare team. They will provide essential technical support to ensure the smooth operation of information technology systems within the field. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting end-users, and collaborating with other IT staff to maintain a reliable and secure IT environment. They are a key part of the IT team that supports information systems for multiple sites including associated hospitals, ASC centers, and clinics.
ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support
- Respond promptly to IT support regarding ongoing support for existing facilities, as well as implementation and go-live of new facilities and acquisitions.
- Provide on-site and remote assistance to end‑users during rounding assignments, transitions and go‑lives of new sites, ensuring timely resolution of technical problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, scanners, and other hardware devices as needed through on‑site requests.
- Create user documentation and guides to assist staff in utilizing technology effectively in collaboration with the Help Desk L1/L2 techs to provide the field knowledge needed for ongoing support.
- Work closely with other IT team members and IT teams to address complex technical issues and contribute to ongoing projects.
- Communicate effectively with end‑users to gather information and provide clear explanations of technical solutions.
- Education: The Technician should have a degree or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- Experience: 7‑8 years of working experience in a relevant IT position within a fast‑paced and constantly evolving environment.

The ability to build relationships and trust with others is a requirement; this role will serve as a change agent toward building and maturing a structured delivery framework. - Travel: Required to travel to hospitals, ASC and clinic locations.

Hours:
The IT Technician will be required to assist with on‑call activities and occasionally work outside of normal office hours.
