Salary $120,000 - $140,000 per year

The IT Network Security Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure across the organization. This role focuses on protecting systems and data, monitoring network performance, responding to cybersecurity incidents, and supporting infrastructure operations.

• Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats using SIEM tools and security platforms.
• Maintain and configure firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and network security controls.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, patching, and security updates across systems and networks.
• Troubleshoot network and security incidents and provide root cause analysis and remediation plans.
• Design and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, and system hardware.
• Maintain documentation for security processes, patch cycles, and system configurations.
• Support infrastructure projects and assist with system and network upgrades.
• Provide on-call cybersecurity support for critical incidents.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and third-party security partners on risk management and incident response.

• 10+ years of experience in IT systems, network, or security administration.
• 3+ years focused on cybersecurity.
• Experience with network security tools, firewalls, VPNs, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking, subnetting, routing, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with virtualization and monitoring tools (VMWare, Solar Winds, SANs).
• Experience with scripting, patch deployment, and system automation.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications such as Security+, Network+, CCNA, CISSP, CISM, or similar preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally if needed.
