Business Solutions Specialist

** Role Definition
** Provides solutions for IT and business management on applying technology to business opportunities, planning and implementation of cross-functional applications.

** Responsibilities
* ** Provide consulting services to internal finance groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results.
* Analyze, define and document client's requirements, and revise existing systems logic challenges, as necessary.
* Monitor client experiences and feedback on the use of Oracle EPM applications; enhance system productivity, as needed.
* Participate in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems that are cost effective and meet business requirements.

** Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.  Level Extensive

Experience:

** System and Technology Integration:
** Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.  Level Extensive

Experience:

** System Testing:
** Knowledge of system and software testing; ability to design, plan and execute system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle.  Level Extensive

Experience:

* Participates in the testing of complex, multi-platform and distributed applications.
* Designs processes to ensure that the system meets and maintains requirements and expectations.
** Technical Troubleshooting:
** Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application, or operation.  Level Extensive

Experience:

* 4-year college or university degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study.
* Strong candidates will also have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience implementing EPM technologies that include, but not limited to – account reconciliations, financial close/consolidations, allocations, planning, budgeting & forecasting.
* Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.
