Job Summary and QualificationsThe Consulting Security Engineer leads the ERP Security Development team in designing, configuring, and implementing security solutions across Lawson ERP, Infor Cloudsuite, IFS, and Syncope platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing team assignments, collaborating with business stakeholders, and ensuring alignment of security configurations with operational needs across HR, Payroll, Billing, AP Workflow, and General Ledger functions. This role supports automation initiatives for user provisioning and audit reporting, and contributes to continuous improvement through agile development practices and adherence to HCA Healthcare’s change management protocols.
The Consulting Security Engineer must have a strong background in data security with demonstrated proficiency in task management, cross-functional collaboration, and process optimization.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the ERP Security Development team in prioritizing and executing security-related tasks.
- Manage configuration and implementation of security rules for Lawson ERP, Infor Cloudsuite, IFS, and Syncope.
- Collaborate with Operations Intake and business owners to assess and fulfill security needs
- Develop or modify roles, rules, and data requirements to support business processes
- Implement automated processes for user provisioning and audit reporting
- Provide feedback, planning, and status reporting to team, customers, and management
- Establish and continuously refine standards and processes that align with the development lifecycle and adhere to change management protocols.
- Participate in strategic planning and sprint management using agile methodology.
- Support quarterly and annual audit needs
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Communicate within the team, with each of the functional customers, and management as it relates to shared vision that drives meeting objectives for Security Development. Objectives to include regular status, process enhancements, risks and priority status.
- Lead and present to business owners and management.
- Collaborate across functional application teams, internally with the Security Development team, Security Operations, and management to drive priority objectives for each group. Work with each consists of continuous process improvement that aids in meeting priority objectives for process and potential automation.
- Utilize judgement to meet priorities and agree upon target completions across each of the systems requests. Gather pertinent information necessary for aligning available resources and input to capacity planning.
