Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

The Office of Technology Services (OTS) at Tennessee State University (TSU) is seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to support and advance our growing information security program. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the analyst will play a key role in protecting the university's digital infrastructure and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of institutional data. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with a work schedule aligned with the University's standard operating hours.

The candidate must be available to work evenings or weekends as necessary to address emergency or maintenance requirements.

This position involves hands‑on responsibilities across security architecture, operations, analysis, and engineering—working with technologies such as Palo Alto Firewalls, Sophos Endpoint Protection, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure AD, Exchange, KnowBe4, VMware, SIEM, and others.
