A skilled Data Engineer with expertise in PySpark and Microsoft Azure to help design, build, and optimize modern data pipelines and large‑scale data processing solutions. You have hands‑on experience with distributed data processing, cloud data engineering, and enterprise‑grade data architectures.

• Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing.
• Develop, optimise, and maintain PySpark‑based ETL pipelines running on Azure Databricks or Azure Synapse.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify data requirements and design effective data solutions.
• Optimise existing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues to ensure reliable data delivery.
• Document data processes and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

This role will require 3 days per week in the office. Hiring locations are Tampa, FL or Nashville, TN.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer with advanced proficiency in PySpark and Microsoft Azure Data Services.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with ETL development, data transformation, and orchestration tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).

• Advanced proficiency with Databricks Platform.
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional (2025) certification.
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD.
• Experience with SQL Optimisation and Query Tuning.
• Strong skills in communication, change management, project management, and storytelling.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
