Salesforce Development Manager

The Salesforce Development Manager leads the strategic direction, technical architecture, and day-to-day management of United Methodist Communications Salesforce platform and related CRM Systems. This role is responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions, managing a team of contract developers, the CRM Analyst, and ensuring the platform effectively serves our mission of connecting people with God through communications ministry. Supervisory skills are required.

The ideal candidate is both a technical expert and high-quality communicator who can build trust, develop super users across functional areas, and create sustainable knowledge transfer systems.

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered)

- Salesforce Administrator Certification is required;
Platform Developer I or II strongly preferred

- Additional Salesforce certifications are a plus

- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including both administration and development

- 2+ years of leading Salesforce projects or teams

- Demonstrated experience with solution architecture, technical specifications and code review

- Experience with system adoption including training and empowering new users

- Experience with multi-org Salesforce architectures preferred

- Knowledge or experience with The United Methodist Church, non-profit or religious organizations is preferred but not required.
