Role OverviewQA Automation Engineer (Hybrid) – Nashville, Tennessee. Requires presence in office 3 days per week.
Responsibilities- Design and execute automated test scripts to verify software functionality, security, and usability.
- Write test plans and detailed test cases, often using test management tools.
- Report and manage defects, working with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure fixes meet quality requirements.
- Collaborate closely with development, Dev Ops, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle, participating in agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups and sprints.
- Maintain and improve automation frameworks and deployment pipelines, often within a CI/CD environment.
- Troubleshoot issues with automation software and systems.
- Minimum 2 years of QA Automation Engineering experience, including frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, and JUnit.
- Minimum 2 years of programming experience, preferably in Java or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience);
Associate degree must equate to at least 6 years work experience.
Bonus:
Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies, strong analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.
Compensation varies by location, skillset, and experience. In Nashville, the annual salary range is $63,800 to $169,300.

- Colorado: $63,800 to $169,300
- District of Columbia: $68,000 to $180,300
- Illinois: $59,100 to $169,300
- Maryland: $63,800 to $169,300
- Massachusetts: $63,800 to $180,300
- Minnesota: $63,800 to $169,300
- New York/New Jersey: $59,100 to $196,000
- Washington: $68,000 to $180,300
