Nashville, TN (onsite 2 days per week)

Duration: 6‑month contract‑to‑hire

$60.00/hr – $67.00/hr

• Define and ensure adherence to non‑functional requirements (NFRs) such as availability, scalability, disaster recovery, uptime, and security.
• Design cloud‑based solutions for high‑impact financial processes.
• Oversee cloud architecture (GCP preferred, Azure or AWS acceptable).
• Ensure strong API design and performance (REST preferred).
• Collaborate closely with business and IT teams to ensure solutions meet SLAs and operational goals.
• Support automation initiatives using RPA (UiPath) when applicable.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub/Git Lab and Azure Dev Ops for deployment.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and ensure architectural alignment with enterprise standards.

• Proven experience in solution architecture, preferably in a leadership or technical strategy capacity.
• Strong understanding of non‑functional requirements (availability, scalability, reliability, maintainability, disaster recovery).
• Hands‑on experience with REST API design and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Ability to design and present architectural blueprints and reference architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
