Oracle XStore POS Principal Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in Oracle XStore POS and retail technology. This role involves leading technical design and development, ensuring successful implementation, and providing guidance on best practices. The ideal candidate will combine deep techno‑functional skills with leadership capabilities to drive end‑to‑end delivery.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be in Nashville, TN location or be willing to relocate there. Must be in client location in Nashville 3 days a week.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.

10 years of experience in retail technology, with a focus on Oracle XStore POS.

Proven experience in technical leadership and delivery in Oracle XStore POS.

Hands‑on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and integration with retail applications.

Strong understanding of retail business processes and POS systems.

Lead technical design, development, and deployment of Oracle XStore POS solutions.

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Participate in functional testing and co‑ordinate with cross functional stakeholders for timely delivery of the solutions developed

Onsite‑Offshore coordination and work management

Perform hands‑on coding, configuration, and integration tasks.

Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices and performance standards.

Manage technical deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Oracle XStore POS.

Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for end‑to‑end solution delivery.

Mentor and guide developers, conduct technical workshops and training sessions.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and Oracle XStore enhancements.
