Thrivence, a strategic consulting subsidiary of Barge Design Solutions, is seeking a Data & Technology Consultant to join our growing team. This position will lead and direct Consultants and Consulting Associates with a focus on Data & Technology while also serving as an individual contributor within the Thrivence team to develop data-driven work products, lead business and technology-focused initiatives, and act as a subject matter expert on analytics, digital transformation, and systems consulting projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support AI enablement initiatives, including conducting AI readiness assessments, piloting and implementing AI tools and platforms, and delivering interactive workshops to educate and empower clients.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact AI use cases, develop adoption roadmaps, and ensure successful integration of AI into business processes.
  • Lead and support engagements focused on data analysis, business process optimization, digital strategy, and technology assessments
  • Frame client challenges through data-driven methodologies and structured problem-solving approaches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement dashboards, reports, and models
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, define business and data requirements, and create client-ready deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies, technical roadmaps, and business cases for technology initiatives
  • Support business development efforts by developing project proposals, participating in client presentations, and contributing to marketing strategy
  • Support internal knowledge development in the areas of data analytics and emerging technology
  • May oversee work of junior analysts or specialists on data- and technology-related tasks
  • Manages project timelines and deliverables effectively
  • Perform other duties as requested
Education & Experience Qualifications
  • MBA, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or Engineering
  • 3–5+ years of progressive experience in consulting, data analysis, digital transformation, business analysis, IT strategy, or enterprise systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI enablement, including hands-on experience with leading AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Gemini, etc.), conducting AI readiness assessments, and evaluating organizational data and process maturity for AI adoption. Skilled in designing and facilitating AI workshops to build client capabilities and drive adoption of AI-powered solutions.
  • Proficient in analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing complex data sets to support decision-making
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), data querying (e.g., SQL), and Excel modeling
  • Experience with enterprise content management environments (e.g. M365, Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Experience implementing and managing aspects of M365 Purview (Records Management, Information Protection, eDiscovery, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and enterprise systems…
