Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Total Rewards Analyst (6-month contract)
Purpose
The Rewards Analyst supports the implementation and administration of global and regional compensation and benefits programs within North America, incl. base pay, variable pay, benefits, and recognition. The role provides business partnership, analysis, and training. The position works closely with the Total Rewards Manager to identify opportunities for improvement and implement business processes, to ensure data integrity and improve the efficiency and of compensation and benefits administration.
The Rewards Analyst is a part of the Total Rewards Global Center of Excellence and the Regional HR Team and reports to the Total Rewards Manager, NAM.
Responsibilities
- Implement and administer Compensation and Benefits Programs within the region of North America.
- Provide consultative guidance in the areas of compensation programs, policies, processes and tools, and the application of federal and state regulations. Establish and maintain solid working relationships with internal customers - HR Business Partners, Line Managers, and GBS.
- Conduct base-pay administration and ensure that controls are in place. Provide advice on competitive salary offers and ad-hoc salary increases.
- Manage job analysis and evaluation within the region and for assigned global business areas; recommend pay grades.
- Conduct market analysis using automated salary tools and surveys and recommend pay adjustments.
- Assist in the execution of the year-end salary and bonus cycle.
- Assess the integrity of pay structure. Research, analyze, and interpret data, prepare reports and form recommendations to management on actions.
- Conduct data audits and partner with HRBPs and GBS to correct system data.
- Evaluate, revise, and implement existing procedures and processes to adapt to new requirements.
- Effectively communicate compensation and benefits program policies and practices, partnering with HR Business Partners. Design content and conduct trainings for various client groups.
- Recommend and produce various analytics and tools to facilitate compensation related initiatives, support decision making, and facilitate communication.
- Liaise with vendors and set up structure and communication for Rewards Programs and Benefits
- Complete designated compensation and benefits surveys. Review and interpret survey results. Make recommendations for change based upon results
- Maintain functional pages in SharePoint.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Located in Nashville, TN metropolitan area
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Advanced skills in Excel. A good understanding of other Microsoft applications, including Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Visio.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize work and handle multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.
- Demonstrated ability to convey information and present complex concepts to individuals with various levels of compensation knowledge and from different levels within the organization, using both verbal and written forms.
- Ability to successfully engage with a variety of people at all levels of the organization and external vendors.
- Ability to handle all requests with tact, confidentiality, and diplomacy.
- Ability to effectively represent the Rewards team at various meetings and events.
- Ability to work independently to manage tasks and timelines and ability to work effectively in a group environment as a cooperative team member.
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Benefits Professional (CEBS) a plus, not required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, incl. program implementation and administration, evaluation, and data analysis.
- Experience in implementation of variable compensation plans with focus on short-term incentives preferred.
- Experience with point-factor job evaluation (Hay JE method) preferred.
- Proven knowledge of compensation principles and best practices, as well as state and federal regulations. Knowledge of FLSA categorization and DOL regulations.
- Skill in using an enterprise personnel platform. Success Factors preferred.
