Overview
Our client, located in Nashville, TN seeks a direct hire Employee Relations Specialist to join their team. This is a pivotal role, acting as the frontline owner of high-volume employee relations matters, reporting to the Director of HR.
Responsibilities- First point of contact for ER issues. Conducting intake calls and assessing risk.
- Provide real-time guidance on coaching, corrective action, and documentation.
- Escalate cases with clear summaries to the appropriate teams (senior HR, Legal, etc.).
- Review corrective actions for policy alignment and consistency.
- Advise leaders on appropriate action levels.
- Maintain templates and track corrective action progression.
- Conduct low-risk investigations (attendance disputes, interpersonal issues).
- Draft plans, interview guides, and gather documentation.
- Escalate high-risk indicators (harassment, discrimination, retaliation, safety).
- Maintain ER logs and dashboards and flag early warning signs as needed to senior HR.
- 2-4 years of Employee Relations and HR experience required.
- Multi-site, multi-state healthcare experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (UKG Pro highly preferred).
- Strong interviewing, writing, and documentation skills required.

Pay: $60k - $65k depending on experience
