As we continue scaling nationally, we’re investing in the people and systems that power our team from the inside out.

The Role

We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager to strengthen our growing People Operations function. This role will support our expanding team as we surpass 50 employees and prepare for the next phase of national growth.

As the HR Manager, you’ll oversee compliance, recruitment strategy, onboarding, and compensation planning, ensuring that Majestic continues to be a great place to work as we scale. You’ll partner closely with department leads and the Director of Finance & Administration to align people strategy with business goals, while maintaining the integrity, joy, and high performance that define our culture.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for key roles, ensuring a positive, values‑aligned candidate experience
  • Manage relationships with the PEO, benefits, payroll, and legal vendors
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding programs that enhance engagement and retention
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking, pay equity reviews, and partner on compensation strategy
  • Maintain HR systems (ATS, HRIS) and reporting on headcount, turnover, and hiring trends
  • Coach managers on performance management, documentation, and feedback conversations
  • Reinforce company values across HR practices and initiatives
  • Support culture, engagement, and recognition programs that make Majestic a best‑in‑class workplace
Ideal Candidate

You might be a great fit if...

  • You’re both strategic and hands‑on (equally comfortable shaping policy, recruiting for roles and running interviews).
  • You take pride in building HR systems that are compliant and human‑centered.
  • You’re proactive, professional, and calm under pressure.
  • You have a natural ability to balance structure with empathy.
  • You believe that how a company treats its people is a direct reflection of its values.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2+ years in recruitment or HR management
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance best practices
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS)

Preferred:

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SC‑P certification
  • Experience in a fast‑growing or multi‑state organization
