The Joseph Nashville, a Luxury Collection Hotel re-imagines the hotel experience. The hotel integrates Nashville s artisans, chefs and craftsmen with a focus on hospitality excellence. The Joseph offers art programs, 297 rooms and suites, 18,000 square feet of event space, and opportunities to provide unique experiences.
Yolan features both an eight and five course tasting menu as well as a more traditional a la carte offering. We focus on contemporary interpretations of classic Italian fare with local, seasonal ingredients. We aim to develop career-focused cooks who will become highly qualified sous chefs with knowledge of food production, ordering, sanitation, team management and kitchen communication.

WHAT YOU DO
You use attention to detail and focused cooking skills to ensure all food items are prepared to specification and plated professionally. You maintain a sanitary environment and stay organized. You adapt to changing Food & Beverage needs.
AVERAGE % OF TIME
- 40% Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner.
- 40% Set up station with predetermined mise en place required to service all banquet functions.
- 20% Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure total customer satisfaction.
WHO YOU ARE
You are hard-working, positive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in sanitary, organized workspace, enjoy working with a team of Food & Beverage professionals, and have one year of experience with culinary operations. You are able to self-manage time and tasks.
