• Answers the phones and takes messages/reservations.
• Maintains an accurate wait list when necessary.
• Welcomes guests upon arrival and bids them farewell, creating a lasting positive experience.
• Greets guests in a friendly and upbeat manner, ensuring satisfaction.
• Communicates effectively with all guests and reports problems to management immediately.
• Coordinates seating arrangements for fast and courteous service.
• Occasionally busses tables to expedite seating of waiting guests.
• Anticipates needs of scheduled special parties.

• At least one year of experience in customer service and/or hosting.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with guests, employees, and third parties, reflecting highly on the venue, brand and company.
• Strong reading and writing abilities, often used for reservations and table assignment systems.
• Ability to read, review, and understand seating charts.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Attention to detail.
• Capable of carrying or lifting items up to 50 pounds.
• Handling objects (including food and utensils) while speaking over and operating phones.
• Standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Must remain in one location at either the entrance or exit of the venue for long periods and move efficiently throughout the facility.
