Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth. Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Licensed Therapist at The Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center in Nashville, TN.
The Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center is dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk youth. Our structured environment promotes self-discipline, self-respect, and motivation. Pay: $65,000-$85,000 annually; can increase based on education and years of experience

What you will doThe Licensed Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy while overseeing the completion of treatment for students under their care. This may include services such as clinical assessments, service planning, counseling, case management, record keeping, and service coordination with the multi-disciplinary team. You may document and assess the effectiveness of interventions toward meeting treatment plan objectives and goals. This position may require crisis intervention as necessary and monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans, and discharge summaries for all students within your care.
Tobe considered you should
- Have an Tennessee license as a LPC, LAC, LMSW, LCSW, OR LMFT
- Must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant field
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
- Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
- Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
