Full-Time Licensed Counselor — MAT Clinics

Apple Gate Recovery, part of Bay Mark Health Services, is a leader in addiction treatment, providing compassionate, evidence-based care for adults battling opioid use disorders. We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will help patients reclaim their lives using Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) alongside counseling, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teammates to support recovery.

What You’ll Do

Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based, trauma-informed practices.

Conduct initial patient assessments and determine eligibility.

Complete comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.

Support patients in developing healthy coping skills and symptom management strategies.

Collaborate with the clinical team to evaluate patient progress.

Assist with aftercare and discharge planning.

Respond empathetically to patient concerns and questions.

Support other clinic locations as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Must hold one of the following: LPC/MHSP, LPC/MHSP Temporary, LADAC II, LCSW, LMFT, or be a Master’s-level intern/candidate working toward licensure.

Passion for working with individuals affected by substance use disorders.

Preferred:
Prior experience with opioid or chemical dependency treatment.

Ability to engage with patients in a positive, non-judgmental manner.

Strong team collaboration skills.

Knowledge of addiction, treatment modalities, and community resources.

Satisfactory background check and drug screen required.
