- Teach theory and hands‑on skills in Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy.
- Deliver instruction in venipuncture, blood collection, ABG, lab processing, and special specimen procurement.
- Use various teaching methods to engage and support students with diverse learning styles.
- Participate in curriculum development and instructional planning.
- Maintain academic and professional standards in the classroom.
This role is full‑time, on‑site in Nashville, Tennessee.
Requirements Education- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Completion of a postsecondary Phlebotomy program (Medical Assisting preferred).
- Required:
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) credentials in the state of Tennessee. - Preferred:
Certified Medical Assistant.
- At least 3 years of full‑time experience in the past 7 years.
- Experience teaching at the postsecondary level is strongly preferred.
