Job Summary and QualificationsThe Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician and for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
What you will do in this role:- Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
- Manage day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
- Perform surgical and portable examinations.
- Accurately follow physician orders, document the completion of the exam in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
- Follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
- Document proper patient history, including lab values.
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- ARDMS registered or acquire registration within 6 months.
- Current BLS certification.
