The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician and for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Manage day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Perform surgical and portable examinations.
• Accurately follow physician orders, document the completion of the exam in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
• Follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• Document proper patient history, including lab values.

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS registered or acquire registration within 6 months.
• Current BLS certification.
