This is a full-time, on-site position located in Nashville, TN, for a Medical Laboratory Technician. The technician will be responsible for collecting, preparing, and analyzing specimens, operating laboratory equipment, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring quality control. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the implementation of research protocols, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with team members to ensure the highest level of patient care and laboratory efficiency.
Qualifications- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including specimen collection, preparation, and analysis
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment operation and maintenance
- Strong understanding of quality control, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols
- Attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in oncology or clinical research is a plus
- Associate’s degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
- Must possess or be eligible for appropriate licensure or certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician
