Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

We care for adult patients 18 and older who are being treated for a variety of medical diagnoses. These diagnoses cover a wide range of disease processes including pulmonary, renal, hepatology, endocrine, and post‑procedural patients. Some of our patient population requires knowledge of home vents, wound care, and care of patients on continuous medication drips, including insulin.

• Full‑Time Day Shift – 6:45 am to 7:15 pm (three 12‑hour shifts per week)
• Full‑Time Night Shift – 6:45 pm to 7:15 am (three 12‑hour shifts per week)
• Shifts rotate throughout the week
• Note:
  
  Set schedules are not available; schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs.
• All Employees (Night shift & PRN included) are required to attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours during the first week of employment.

• Required:
  
  High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• AND one of the following:
• Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical)
• Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required)
• Minimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.

• Assist with day‑to‑day delivery of patient care.
• Facilitate efficient and safe patient care and flow by following work area standards.
• Serve as a liaison for communication and education of patient and family needs.
• Support unit operations and patient flow by maintaining supplies, equipment, and unit environmental standards.
• Additional duties may be assigned beyond the responsibilities listed.

• Clinical Competencies (Novice):
  Demonstrates competence with interventions such as point‑of‑care testing and vital signs in moderate‑difficulty applications.
• Care Partner Patient Documentation (Novice):
  Independently works with clinical applications for patient documentation.
• Environment of Care (Novice):
  Demonstrates ability to set up and maintain patient rooms, supplies, and equipment. Capable of delivering environment of care services with some support. Provides technical support to peers and models CREDO behaviors.
• Planning & Organizing (Novice):
