NEW Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist for an overnight position in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about accuracy, quality, and patient care behind the scenes.
Job Summary
The Medical Lab Tech/Technologist is responsible for the daily processing and testing of patient specimens. This role performs routine laboratory procedures, ensures quality standards are met, and supports overall lab operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and prepare specimens according to established laboratory protocols
- Perform testing procedures and produce accurate, reliable results
- Interpret and report test findings with precision
- Meet departmental productivity and quality benchmarks
- Follow all laboratory safety procedures and compliance standards

- Associate's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science (or medical technology)
- ASCP or AMT certification required
- Must maintain continuing education to keep certification active
- At least one year of laboratory experience (preferred but not required)
- Students or recent graduates eligible to sit for the ASCP or AMT certification exams are encouraged to apply
