Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Hiring an experienced Medical Technologist to join a Special Chemistry department in a dynamic clinical laboratory setting. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technologist who is confident working independently, committed to quality, and comfortable troubleshooting complex laboratory processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all duties of a Medical Technologist I independently, demonstrating strong clinical competency
- Receive, process, and analyze specimens according to departmental protocols
- Produce, interpret, and report accurate and precise test results
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that may impact test performance or reporting
- Perform routine instrument maintenance and assist with method troubleshooting
- Assist in designing and updating procedures to improve testing efficiency and accuracy
- Support quality assurance and quality control documentation and monitoring

- Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science (or medical technology)
- Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
- Ongoing continuing education required to maintain certification and licensure
