Surgical Tech II, Belle Meade ASC

Job Summary

The Surgical Tech II facilitates patient care by assisting physicians and nursing staff before, during, and after surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile field and providing instruments and supplies required by the surgeons.

Full Time, Monday-Friday, 4x10s, 6:30am – 5:00pm. No weekends, no holidays, no call.

• Assist the surgeon before, during and after surgical procedures.
• Set up, perform and clean up assigned surgical procedures as a circulator and scrub tech.
• Perform sharp, sponge and instrument counts according to policy.
• Apply principles of asepsis to create and maintain a sterile field.

• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program OR completion of a surgical technologist training program in the U.S. armed forces.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Prior experience in orthopedic cases (preferred).
• Certification from one of the listed issuers:

• NBSTSA CST – National Board of Surgical Technologist and Surgical Assistants, Certified Surgical Technologist.
• NCCT – TS-C – National Center for Competency Testing, Tech In Surgery.

• Sign‑on bonus of $20,000 (taxable) paid over 2 years.
• Relocation bonus up to $10,000 (taxable) paid within 45 days of hire for relocation mileage.
