MRI Technologist PRN

Job Description

We are seeking a MRI and Radiology Technologist for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.

• Perform MRI/General Radiology examinations, ensuring a high level of quality.
• Interview patients, review charts/orders, and obtain a comprehensive history.
• Evaluate patients before contrast injection and assess contraindications.
• Assist radiologists as needed.
• Scan patients with appropriate equipment and correct order exam.
• Obtain plain film X-rays.
• Handle hazardous medications as defined by the hospital policy.
• Promote teamwork with the department and hospital.

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Two‑year post‑graduate related experience.
• Current registration with American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) and advancement certification in MRI.
• Will obtain MRI certification within 12 months of hire if not already registered.
• Current American Heart BLS upon hire.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
