Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Director of Therapeutic and Recreational Services position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Executive Director, to ensure that an on‑going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being of each resident.

As Director of Therapeutic and Recreational Services: you are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for our residents, families, co‑workers, visitors, and all others; as well as demonstrating in all interactions.

• Certified Dementia Training Required
• Certified Activities Director Preferred
• Leadership Management Preferred
• Point Click Care History Preferred, not required
• Employee Scheduling History Preferred, not required
